  • Planetary Boundaries

The Stockholm Resilience Institute research to understand the complex dynamics of people and planet in the Anthropocene. Their ‘Planetary Boundaries’ concept “presents a set of nine planetary boundaries within which humanity can continue to develop and thrive for generations to come”.

As of 2023, we have crossed 6 of the 9 planetary boundaries under assessment (diagram pictured above)- meaning we are outside of the safe limits of processes that regulate the stability and resilience of the Earth system.

  • Climate Kids

Younger generations will be the worst affected by climate change, and it is our responsibility to do everything we can to protect their future. There are many organisations, resources and mental health support services online for children and young people, to learn more about climate change, to connect, and to support their mental health and wellbeing. These include resources such as NASA’s Climate Kids, Generation Dread and Headspace who provide guidance on climate education, eco anxiety and mindfulness.
